EYE CARE

Why Regular Eye Exams Matter.

Your eyes do more than help you see, they play a key role in your overall health. Regular eye exams allow us to check your vision, look for early signs of eye conditions, and monitor changes over time.

During an exam, we can look for:

Vision changes that may be affecting your day-to-day comfort

Early indicators of eye conditions

Signs of systemic health concerns like diabetes or high blood pressure

Routine checkups help ensure your vision stays clear and comfortable as your needs change.

STEP BY STEP

What to Expect During Your Exam

Our eye exams are thorough but designed to feel calm and approachable. Every appointment includes space for questions, so you leave understanding your eye health and options. Here’s what you can expect during a typical appointment:

1

Discussion & Medical History

A conversation about your vision, lifestyle, and any concerns you may have.
2

Vision Testing

Assessing how clearly you see at different distances. We also measure how well your eyes work together as a team.
3

Eye Health Evaluation

We look at the internal and external health of your eyes.
4

Prescription Check

Determining whether you need glasses or contact lenses, or if your current prescription should be updated.
5

Review & Questions

We take time to explain your results and make sure you feel comfortable with your next steps.

EVALUATE YOUR EYE HEALTH

Diagnostic Technology

Clear assessments begin with clear information. Our clinic uses a range of diagnostic tools that help us evaluate your eye health with precision and consistency. These technologies allow us to see details that are not always visible in a standard visual test and help guide individualized care.

Some of the tools we use include:

Retinal Imaging
High-resolution photos of the back of your eye help us monitor the health of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels over time.
Corneal Topography & Curvature Measurements
Mapping the shape of the cornea assists with glasses prescriptions, contact lens fittings (including Ortho-K), and detecting irregularities in the eye’s surface.
Tear Film & Surface Evaluation Tools
Used during dry eye assessments to understand tear stability and surface comfort.
Digital Refraction Systems

Provide consistent, repeatable prescription measurements.

Ocular Pressure Measurements

A quick and comfortable way to evaluate internal eye pressure as part of a routine health check.

Together, these tools give us a clearer picture of your eye health and help us create care plans that match your vision, lifestyle, and long-term needs.
